Do you have automatic cars?WE offer BOTH Automatic and manual cars. Learning to drive a manual car can provide several benefits for drivers including: Greater Control: With a manual transmission, the driver has more control over the car's acceleration and speed. This can be particularly useful when driving on steep hills or in heavy traffic. Better Fuel Efficiency: Manual transmissions typically offer better fuel efficiency than automatic transmissions. This is because the driver can shift gears at optimal times to keep the engine running at its most efficient level, which can result in significant savings on fuel costs. Lower Maintenance Costs: Manual transmissions are generally less complex and have fewer components than automatic transmissions, which can make them less expensive to maintain and repair. This can be particularly beneficial for drivers looking to save money on car maintenance. More Engaging Driving Experience: Many drivers in the UK find driving a manual transmission to be more engaging and enjoyable than driving an automatic. Shifting gears can provide a sense of satisfaction and control over the vehicle, which can make driving more enjoyable. Improved Driving Skills: Learning to drive a manual transmission can improve a driver's overall driving skills, as it requires more coordination, concentration, and focus. This can make a driver more aware of their surroundings and more adept at handling different driving situations, which can be particularly useful in the UK's busy roads. In summary, while learning to drive a manual transmission may require more effort and practice than learning to drive an automatic, the benefits can be significant for drivers including greater control, improved fuel efficiency, lower maintenance costs, a more engaging driving experience, and improved driving skills. Its your choice and we can work to get you PASSED in either

How long is each lesson? At 4 Driving Lessons Colchester & Clacton, we understand that learning to drive can be a daunting task, and that there is a great deal of information to take in. We have found that students often find one hour not long enough as a great deal of learning needs to take place. Therefore, we recommend 2 hour lessons as they provide more time for students to practice and develop their skills. Additionally, students who opt for 2 hour lessons tend to pass their driving test much faster than those who only take one hour lessons. This is because they have more time to practice and reinforce what they have learned. So, if you are serious about passing your driving test quickly and safely, we highly recommend booking 2 hour lessons with us.
